A Pillar trim issue

Anyone else have this problem?

Looks like the clip holding the trim together is broken.

Happened on mine shortly after getting it. It should pop right back in, unless something's truly broken. I pushed it up as far as possible, kept holding pressure, then hit it firmly with the heel of my other hand around the area shown below. Hasn't popped-out since. Otherwise, take it to the dealer...

(Picture upside down, sorry)
CRISSIS,

Sorry to see that the clip holding the trim together may be broken. If you feel an official GM diagnosis is necessary, I'd be happy to communicate your sentiments with the Customer Experience Managers (CEM) at your preferred GM dealer. Please know that you're welcome to message us privately if you'd like to proceed, or if you simply want your experience(s) officially documented.

Sincerely,

William R.

William,

I tried to snap the trim back in place as recommended by a previous reply but no success? Would you recommend that I just take it to a dealership? The car only has 1,200 miles and only a few months old - would this likely be covered under the bumper to bumper?

Thanks for the help!
James

Definitely! You're within your warranty period and you don't want something like this to adversely affect your satisfaction with your vert. It shouldn't take your dealer long to put this right - unless that part is defective and they have to order a new one.

Mine is exactly the same. And it will not snap into place.
