Hello Everyone: I'm new here, I'm going to be ordering my 1SS/RS, RJT/BLK, SUNROOF this weekend, but I'm concerned, I live in NorCal, close to Hayward and Oakland, I don't have a garage I can use, I'm worried about vandalism, and thievery, what is the best thing I can do to avoid this situation, I know, don't get the car, well, thats not going to happen, does the 2011 Camaro have an alarm already installed in it, or am I going to have to get one myself?

The car has OnStar...for the 2011s, I believe the car still comes with a one year free subscription then after that you have to pay for it. OnStar has some great features to include tracking the vehicle via GPS if it gets stolen and they can even slow the car down and stop it! I recommend going online and reading about everything OnStar has to offer.

As for preventing vandalism...I would invest in a really really BIG gun....or maybe chain a Rottweiler next to your car!

Hi Becky:

I had a good day today, I went to my dealer to pick up my order #, I walk up to him and he says " I have a surprise for you!!" He walked me to their gated area, and there she was, Red Jewel, 1SS/RS, all black inter, and a sunroof, everything that I wanted, so I signed the papers. YAHHHHH, I have a new baby named Ruby.
