Delivery Day

So my camaro made it to the railyard on September 6th, with scheduled delivery for the 13th. (1) week for transport, seemed fair right? Well the 13th came and went and no car. It is currently the 25th and still no car and all that my dealer, and Becky helped here too, can tell me is that my car is on a truck somewhere on its way to my dealer. The reason for the delay was/is "quality control" at the railyard. Shenanigans is what I'm calling on this. Has anybody ever had a delivery take this long? I mean it's almost 3 weeks now. They could have built me another camaro in that time period.

i can't imagine "quality control" would even take up a week. 3 weeks is a bit ridiculous.

Mine was built 8/3/09 and on the train 8/5/09 but it wasn't delivered to me and home until 8/21/09. Look at the good side- You will be driving around in a new Camaro any time now. Congrats.

I'd be suspect. While QC could be the cause, I've never seen it take more than a week. But there's been stories...like one guy's car was built Mar 16th, 2009 and and finally made it to the dealer on May 13th, 2009. A mere 58 days after it was built. And he lives in Buffalo! Naturally, the car was dubbed "Waldo". Granted it was an early car, but still.

There may not be anything sinister, but then again, someone could've crunched it in some way or other problem so I'd inspect the living dog crap out of it when/if it ever arrives.

Yea, I won't actually be able to pick her up until the 9th, but I'm going to be asking/demanding tons of pictures and an odometer picture.
