It doesn't look that bad but it all added up to around 22-23k in damage. Doors dont shut properly, needs lots of interior pieces from the airbag and the front naturally needs LOTS of parts. Core support hit the engine hard enough to bend the ps pump. Parts being unavailable for the rebuild and hearing it could take up to 4 months to get some parts, turned them away from wanting to fix it. They would have had to pay for my rental the entire time it was being fixed as well as supplemental costs which could add up QUICK. I'm glad it was totaled out and happy to have another on the way!

I guess you could probably pay a decent sum but unless you have a need or a place to store it like your own junk yard. Poor car. Poor driver. If they are alive I'm sure they are heart broken. I know I would be.
Poor car.

I'd like to bitch the driver. Dumb@ss.

I hadn't ever seen a wreck like this. The pole went through the engine bay to the rear seating area. That's terrifying.

These guys need to learn to drive. That includes knowing your vehicle's limits.

You do not have to be going fast to hit ice and completely lose it. 6 yrs ago I was in the Lehigh area in PA and was getting onto a highway where there was ice everywhere. State Police were all over the ramps with flares and everything to warn people. I merged onto the ramp in my explorer at 10-15 MPH and i hit a patch of ice and threw me across 3 lanes, and an oncoming semi missed the front end of my truck by inches. Scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I truly thought i was going to die. Sooo, it truly doesnt take much to make things get a little crazy when ice is involved

That car is good and burnt!

I suppose you could buy it for the value of the metal scrap...
This one needs to be crushed.
