question about 2011 interior options

ok, im buying my camaro in a few months,
and initialy i was going to get a 2010 camaro synergy.

then i thought about waiting on the 2011's because i heard they were offering the synergy green paint on them also.

but i want to know ,would i still be able to get the green accented interior on the 2011?

e.g. the door panels/steering wheel/shift knob,seats.

i really want to get the 2011 with the hud,

but if i cant get the green accented interior ill have to search for a 2010 synergy to purchase.

Cannot get the green interior w/ the SS but you can on the 1LT only

Yes... you can get the full synergy green package. The only difference in 2011 is they offer green in the SS without the interior part and the HUD is now added. Other than that, it's the same options.

My assumption is that the Synergy Green limited edition Camaro with the green stitching and interior panels will only be available for 2010 models.

But to be honest, unless you'll really miss the stitching, eventually there will be a way to order the synergy green panels if you go the aftermarket route.

No, was/is only available on the 2010.

IIRC they're only offering the Synergy Green as an exterior colour in 2011. and for a limited time at that.

You'll be able to get the paint code and paint your panels green easy enough, and probably cheaper than the GM kit (if they offer a green one)

i wonder how hard it will be to find a 2010 synergy around july/august???

it figures i have to want the one thats going to be tough to find when im able to buy it.

Well the guys who brought the 2011 to C5fest said the only difference was HUD and SG available in the SS and you could only get the green interior in the LT...

They didn't mention that it was only 2010 model LTs that had it. Guess that preserves the "special edition" value of the 2010's... sorry for the confusion...
