I plan on doing a full exhaust system, but would rather wait to see what kind of performance gains are going to bad had as well as options and how she sounds with different styles.

I know the TBSS's have 3" exhaust from the factory and people have hit 12's with stock exhaust, which is why I started cheap and simple, and did a muffler delete. So, without knowing GM's plans for the factory exhaust or even how much of a difference the GMPP exhausts are going to be, I think I'll wait.

^Just cut and weld. If you are putting in a turbo, it won't matter....you'll do it.

Questions: Are the stock mufflers right behind the rear difuser or are those just resonators?

I would probably just remove the "resonators" behind the difuser and find new exhaust tips to start... That will be all I can afford... :(

If those are the actual mufflers.. It will be kept stock for a while....

Those are the mufflers, but you could remove them and replace the resonators up stream with glasspacks, lound mouths, or bullet mufflers.

new mufflers would void the warranty on the exhaust parts that got cut to put the new mufflers on.

does anyone know if they will have the catback exhaust by the time the car is released? Cuz my dealer said its a dealer installed option and that I might have to wait a couple months or so after the cars released, due to the fact GM didnt release any info YET AGAIN.. As much as I love GM their starting to piss me off with the NOT RELEASING of any info.. why is it so hard to do? just release it so we can order accordingly?! their not helping themselves by doing this, only turning some ppl away, and/or making ppl order less due to the fact they dont know if they can afford it or not.

SLP LT header back exhaust. Depends on how long it takes the company and how soon I can afford it.

Question....if I got a place to put on some Series 40 Flowmasters...that's really all they would need to put in right...they shouldn't have to replace much pipe...just use the original right??
