It seems to be a bit more "rich" in color, more depth to it. That feed back was from several who saw the two widely spaced vin's sitting together. Not sure what they changed, but it is different.

QUality OK and good against dust, but keep the inside clean as you can as water goes through and leaves water spots. I'm OK with it since it is factory order, but might go to a california cover to actually use full time. If you did not order it with the car, I would not do it now, use a top quality california cover.

I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to change the colour. You must have been looking at them from slightly different angles... you know; one's on your left and one's on your right. That colour shifting paint can play tricks on your mind.

I had teh dealer install a Borla cat-back on my car. I was told that the original exhaust is now basically scrap because they had to cut it out to install the Borla Cat-back exhaust. I thought Borla was a "Bolt-on". Why wouldn't the factory exhaust then be a bolt-off process? Anyone know anyhthing about this?

The factory is basically all one piece. I had to do the same when I put the loudmouth on. Its not really junk though cause you could just use slip joints and clamps to bolt the factory exhaust back up if need be.

Picked up my car today and all I can say is what an awesome car! I love everything about it. I had such a great time driving it home from the dealership which is about 20mins from my house. I even let my friend drive it and he has a mustang and he did nothing but smile and rave about how much fun it was to drive it. I couldn't believe how much power it has and how easy the M6 was to shift. I don't know if I can wait until the spring to drive it again! lol

Black rims or polished?
Having a hard time deciding. I orded my RS/SS with the black rims, but now having second thoughts. I really like the silver side grills and not sure how the black rims will look with the silver side grills. Any suggestions?

The midnight silver rims are FAR from black. They look like that on the website but in person they are almost impossible to tell apart from the normal silver rims... they are just a little darker looking like titanium or something or almost like they just have some brake dust on them. Don't think of them as black.

Hey Redirish,
I got mine Saturday morning and couldn't agree more! I had a "stuff" eating grin all the way home!! I couldn't resist taking it for another ride yesterday, even though I swore I wouldn't drive it till spring :-) I'm definitely going to have to get a radar detector ;-) |
