Yesterday at start up HUD display read "HUD warming up". Air temp. was -6 F. Took about 5 mins. for HUD to "warm up" and start working. Auto has been exposed to more extreme low temps in the past and I never had an issue with HUD requiring warm up time. My 2011 2LT now 3-1/2 years old, about 6,200 miles, out of warrenty.

Any ideas why after 3 winters HUD took 5 mins. to warm up and start working?

Might not be related but have started to have radio issues in the last few weeks as well. Sometimes radio (AM-FM) works, sometimes not but disc player works fine. See last page of thread '2010 Camaro radio problems'.
