Hope this clears this up for some of you that were trying to act like chevy experts.

yea.... cuz it takes a real "chevy expert" to know the difference between a LS9 and and LS7, and a ZR1 from a Z06.

Still don't believe it, nor do I think anyone here does. If you are that uninformed then you should not be dropping an LS7 (or LS9 for that matter) into your ride.

not just dropping it into his car, he's also going to modify the ls7 to work with a supercharger designed for an ls3.

Well, there are 2 pictures in that photobucket directory.
OP posted this one
http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/...y/IMG_9344.jpg

and I found this one
http://i1078.photobucket.com/albums/...y/IMG_9346.jpg

The engine off a wrecked ZR1 turned out to be a ZO6, with all crate engine protective caps! And sitting on a stand.
And then there is another engine picture in the same directory which barely out of crate, with all factory protective caps.

It is possible for a LS3 to have a dry sump oil pan. Order a grand sport with a manual and you get a dry sump system.

An easy way to tell is the shape of the intake runners. LS3 runners are circular.....

While LS7 runners are flattened out....
