clear bra?
Do any of you use or have used clear bra paint protection? Any advice on whether or not it is a good thing?

Just be careful when you wax the car because if you don;t get all the wax cleaned off you will leave a line around the edge of the clear plastic.

I was really hoping for a picture of Megan Foxx in the clear bra!
Seriously, I have some on my lower quarter panels on my truck and they work well. I haven't tried the ones on the front because I have a bug shield, but was defintiely planning on getting it for the Camaro. I heard there is also a spray on kind. Has anyone seen or used that? |

When my parents leased a VUE a few years ago, the Saturn dealer that they got it from threw in a 3M clear bra, and a 3M stain treatment on the interior. Can't even see it unless you're like an inch from the front of the car...

I know many people with the clear bra on their sport cars and trucks and they love it. I'll have one one my Camaro.

Clear bras are the greatest thing ever.
Things that protect the paint on the front of your car are cool too.

A recent thread about it on another forum taught me this: It has to be put on while the car is brand new and it has to be installed by someone who truly understands paint, swirls, and clearcoats, or else it could have crappy results.
IMO, a car that looks like it's been kept in mint condition looks like nobody's ever had fun or driven it anywhere.

Wasn't trying to be funny. I fully expect to see a Line-X Camaro with a three foot lift on 35" mud boggers kicking Grave Digger's ass. We have to dominate in every performance category.

I've seen clear bras and will either be going that way or with just a nice Culligan (?sp?) bra like I have on my '02. I will have to see another Camaro with an actual bra on it before being sold but a clear bra, although expensive, when done well, is a great idea.
