I searched to see if this had been posted. Didn't see it so here it is.

Motor Trend has a video version of the comparison here.

What's surprising, given the weight difference in the Genesis' favor, is that the Camaro matched the skid numbers, bettered the breaking numbers, and was only .1 sec slower 0-60. (I think 5.7 is still the best anyone has published for the V6).

Forgot to add...the Genesis is the top model with the track pack.

Yeah I saw this the other day, was happily surprised to see the V6 hold its own against the Genesis 3.8. Thought the Gen would easily win, but no!

Car and driver did the exact same challenge. Ended up with the camaro winning the points and the Trophy!

They mentioned fuel economy at the end saying that the Genesis is the way to the future because its smaller and lighter and thats important when it comes to the upcomming CAFE laws, but ignored the fact that the V6 Camaro gets better mileage than the Genesis does ...
