Clutch not returning TSB question
I know this it is one of the biggest issues with the clutch pedals on our cars. You floor it while trying to disengage the clutch and it only returns 1/4 of the way and you burn it up. I found this while working hard at work today
2010 Chevrolet Camaro Power Train Service Bulletin 313990 http://www.automd.com/tsb/bulletin_b313990/ Does this mean if I have the problem again I should go to the dealer throw them the keys and say FIX IT?? |

Had the TSB done, no difference. They even replaced my clutch and flywheel.
Tried swapping fluid to dot4, no difference. Went with aftermarket clutch, works awesome!!! |

The dealer won't do anything about it unless they can reproduce the problem... They replaced the clutch assy, fly wheel, and slave cyl on my old 2010 under warranty when the pedal stuck, and fell to the floor on its own in the shop... Tried to talk them into letting me have them install an aftermarket clutch in the car since they already had it apart but they wouldn't do it. Never had a problem once it was all replaced though, put 20k more miles on it and maybe 75 1/4 mile passes.
