So, my understanding of this summary is this:

Plug # 1 is used on:
2SS, 1SS, 2LT, or 1LT equipped WITH the RS package

Plug # 2 is used on:
2SS, 1SS, 2LT, 1LT, LS equipped WITHOUT the RS package

I hope this helps clear it up for people.

I'm curious what the difference is between the plugs in relation to what wires are attached to the plugs. Does the RS plug have more wires, and are they in a different configuration?

I would think that if all that's needed is an additional power wire, you could use the existing plugs, but just run the extra wire to an additional source. However, like I said earlier, without seeing any wiring diagrams, I'm probably juse firing blanks

RS packae plugs have more wires due to the halos and the Xenons, there is a little bit more to it than just adding a power wire

Since I am looking at getting an LS Camaro, I am glad to see Ottobody making a conversion kit. I have one question, though - How are you handling the low voltage DRL signal into the low beam HID? Isn't it bad for the ballast, long term, to be starved of voltage during the day when DRL is trying to come on? I had a TBSS that I put an HID kit on and the bulb wanted to flicker like a big zapper all the time when I ran HID's. I had to run a 12V relay in order to keep them from coming on as DRL's.

Just wondering. Thank you.

So you are running a relay that is activated by the low beam wire and getting the power from somewhere else?

we will be selling a kit that is pretty much just connecting wires, we will label all wires so that it is very user freindly, and ultimatly very simple to install. however the front bumper and inner fenderliners will need to be removed to switch out both of the headlights.

yes, you can have the BMW headlights installed in your camaro, you would have to do some detailed modafications they do fit it would be easiest to have it done at our shop as we will be doing these to all of our conversions and know how to do it and what it takes

So you are getting the low beam power from somewhere else than the OEM low beam wire?
