"As a newbie, I would think you wouldn't..." and ultimately:

"why do you car whether he posts here or not?" (I think you meant care)

You sound a little hypocritical... - What does newbie have to do with it? I have to earn the right to express my "arrogant" opinion? !? My opinion (in your opinion) is arrogant telling dealers to "get lost"? (which is not what I said at all!)?

And you are asking me why do I care whether he posts here or not?!?

Wow. I thought I was blindingly obvious. I smacks of bad taste (in my newbie arrogant opinion of course) to try and sell Camaro's on a Camaro enthusiast blog site. I wasn't disrepectful to you or DTripper, and even told him my opinion on stuff I would like to see him post. Obviously, you, DTripper, and any/everybody else can continue to post whatever they want... Thank god I can too... Hopefully I can do it without telling people their posts are arrogant or getting on their case...

I just want this site to remain an enthusaist info site, not a site where I get pitched to buy this or that from this guy or that guy. If it doesn't happen fine. But shilling is shilling, and he's not even trying to disguise it. If others have the opinion that any dealer (or any PERSON) can just come and pitch whatever they want, no matter how great the price, or how fast the delivery, or how this or that, my OPINION is that this site would be a lot less useful to the majority of people sharing info - and a lot less fun.

Just common sense, that's all.

Let's just say we agree to disagree. I apologize for any thing I said.

It's all about discussion.

RPO

Yeah I'm sorry but that's not true.

I mean maybe they'll all get one, but def not from the first month, maybe not even second or third for a lot of dealerships.

Hello All,

My name is Damien Tipper and I am the Internet Sales Manager at John L Sullivan Chevrolet in Roseville California. We are taking orders and will have one of the biggest allocations of Camaro's in California. We do not mark up our Camaro's and will only charge MSRP. We already have 12 placed and we expect to see the first ones in late March or early April, or whenever GM gets the ball rolling. If you have any questions please call me on my direct line. 916-788-8761.

Thanks for the honest and good info.....it's nice when people tell
the truth. And remember... some people will not believe the truth
no matter what you say...same thing happened 2000 years ago.

So lets get this straight ....if 11 are "done deals" and the other 3 are for the store to "show the public" you don't really have any to sell NOW!

And if you did they are next Oct. cars.

LOL. I'll ask our Fleet Manager (he does our ordering) on Monday. I saw with my own eyes on gmdealerworld which I access on a daily basis 14 placed. Talked with him today and Thursday seems to be the big day when he actually places the first one. Then each week he places more and more. I'm sure you already know this though. Let's see how fast they start coming out when the factory kicks in.

In this market were in right now we need to touch every person possible to let them know it's ok to buy a car and it seems there are a lot of loyal chevy customers on this site. Thanks again and let's hope this is one of the cars that helps turn around GM.

Selling Chevrolet for 10 years and proud of it!!

I agree I was very excited to find Damien here, I have been reading about all these great dealers on the east cost, but I was like WTH! No one representing the west coast? Then I found his post's and was very excited. I have read every post he has made and all I see are people like OUR72GTO and UCF wOOt among others do nothing but give the guy a hard time. back off $HIT! we're not all perfect like you and spell CAMARO in all caps all the time or never post something in the wrong section... He mentioned he was new to the forum and this is how he is treated? Like I have mentioned before I am a member of two other forums, one of them prides themselves on being helpful and courteous not bashing or flaming every chance they get. I'm not saying this because I feel he needs someone to get his back, he has done that himself just fine, and he has taken your hits with extreme patience, better than I probably would have. I applaud him for that I bring this up because all your doing is making people lose respect for you by bashing a new comer because you think he is unreasonable or knowledgeable or has bad grammar... More than being just CAMARO worshipers we are human beings, let's start acting like one and start treating people with a little more respect.
