Have been wanting to do a custom intake cover for my RS, just can not find the time with other projects and family obligations.
Curious if any of you out there that do covers would be willing to do a custom project and how much.

I'll take a decent pic of the engine cover and put my awesome MSPaint skills to use.

OK, grabbed a pic of an intake of the web. Did a fast and dirty MSPaint on it to show what I want to do.
A local shop quoted me over $250 for just paint and VINYL stripes after I told them I was looking for custom paint, including the stripes.

Everything in red will be cut out. Along the "coil towers" the red will be cut out as seen from the side.
The red along the front and side edges will be to make the cover more symetrically pleasing to the eye.
The entire cover would be smoothed, painted ABM and white stripes painted on, then clear coated.
I would later add mesh to the cut out areas and Blue LEDS to the underside when I get to adding them to my sons Camaro.

I would also later add the RS emblem.

Like I said before, just looking for a guestimate on what someone would charge for this. I had prepped to do some of the work, then burned out my dremel on another project and life got ahead of me.

That's a lot of work. $250 isn't bad. I would charge about $300+shipping.
