Sorry for the noobie question.

Thank you,

What Helmet Class will i need etc.

I would think they will permit a Snell 2010 "M" class helmet like last year. Picked one up at Walmart for like $50. I am sure they will post the safety rules closer to the event dates. Make sure your fluids are topped, no leaks are found, and the battery is securely mounted. All loose items removed, and drivers car mat removed to the truck area so leave all the excess stuff in the hotel that day.

In the autocross, they broke down the cars into 4 classes, and each class got to make 3-4 passes and get in their fastest times on Friday. There was 3 sessions on Friday. The fastest 3 cars of each session of each class got to be included in the finals on Saturday. I think there was only 1 session that Saturday morning and because all of the slots were not filled, they allowed some of us to fill them in so I got to run again on Saturday morning which was neat because this was my first autocross and I needed the seat time, and of course it was a blast. I made a few passes on the drag strip too but was unable to make it back in time to run the brackets and had to forfeit my attempt. If you run the autocross in a session, you are expected to be a corner worker in the next session so you aren't available to drag race much when running the autocross session. Either way, just have a blast doing what you enjoy the most.
All you needed to do is tell them you had a drag race class to run and you would have been exempt. There were plenty of corner workers just from volunteers. It doesn't take long to run drags and then go back over to AutoX. We also finished AutoX classes early on Sat so everyone could participate in Drags that afternoon. We'll try and get some schedules out early this year to help plan for both.

Cost has been the same at all 5 Fests and this one is no different. $20 for a spectator wristband and $100 for driver wristband good for both days.

Mike, don't forget me for Friday .

Yes, 20 per person and you'll get a wristband good for 2 days.

Does $20 let you show your car in the car show? Not sure of I am going to do any of the driving events.

Yes, the $100 allows you to drag race and autox both days, until your right foot gets tired and you need to find some sleep.

Me and my wife both drive. For me, I get to take it down the track a few times, then here "my turn my turn", then I am apparently done for the day. Because once I give her the keys, it's "one more time, just once more, one more time....". And then the gates are closing when I get the keys back. LOL
