Problems with color

Ever since got my white ss co workers and friends have been not so friendly. I went from black to white , white dosent show flaws in the clear coat like black does, I fell in love with summit white when I first saw it. Ne one else having issues like these?

I dont see what the problem is? They are being rude because you chose a specific color you liked for YOUR car?

White is a sweet color regardless on the Camaro, who cares what others think

I get some hate also because everyone I work with assumes that I make a lot of money with kids and a mortgage given that they have them both.... Them I lay the little secret on them, I don't have either and buy stuff just for me. Luckily I never got married, with a 60% divorce rate its nothing but a bad investment at this point. Would you take half of your assets up to Vegas and put it down on a 40/60 prop bet? Hell no, but that's marriage reality in America these days. As for the house front, lets just say I learned my lesson from the latest economic downturn and the Camaro seemed like a much better investment. Besides the house never brought a smile to my face while my Camaro does daily. All things considered I'll let my brother and sister crank out the kids and worry about the $1,500 dollar a month mortgage for just a little while longer I think. People are gonna always hate when they're stuck driving a Camcord or quasi Mini-Van/SUV.

Not retarded when you don't want to deal with the hassle of maintenance, and a long term commitment (mortgage). Not to mention property taxes.

Other than that...maybe someone else said it already, but haters are going to hate. Enjoy yours and bask in the glory!

I agree, mine is $525 for a 1 bedroom with a covered spot in front of it in Paradise Valley. Anything and I mean ANYTHING is better than the $1,900 dollar a month mortgage I had in Scottsdale. You can't also discount the value of being able to move for career purposes which, I had to pass up on several times when I owned a home. I figure since I'm not hitched I might as well settle into a nice condo for $500-$700 something a month here in a year or two that I can sublet if need be.

On a side note, I'll take a 67 Z28 (just to be different), a 70 Z28, any IROC-Z with a TPI engine and a 97 30th anniversary SS convertible with that spare millions.
