Direct trade with new Z28?
Im sending my ZL1 back to NY, maybe slap a 4l80 transmission, converter, bigger cam, moar the boost, meth and race gas and go nuts on the other hand Ive spent enough on cars, im now building a pre-runner GMC Sierra and will probably get a C7 Z06. With that said I might consider a direct trade with a brand new Z/28 assuming someone's up for the offer. This vehicle as MORE THAN $175,000 into it, I say more than because that's when I stopped counting
For those who don't know the car, heres one picture that speaks a million words.

IMO keep the ZL1. You can never get all the money back out of a trade, plus you can always upgrade the suspension parts and brakes (when they finally release them) of a Z/28 to make a wicked fast drag and track camaro, unless you just wanna have bragging/collecting creds.
The new Z06 will be a much better track car than the Z/28, if you plan on getting one. |

A stock car the way it came from the factory if made in the last ten years are going to get more money than car that has any amount of add ons will ever bring. 99% of cars that are modded will be worth less than stock. That's why it's important to only do mods that can be removed and car put back to stock. Better to sell the upgrades and he car separate.
Owners like to do their own mods. Most if not all resto mods never get back what they put in. It will be a long time if ever the CS brakes will ever be for sale. That's one of the main things that sells the Z28 |

I just sold my Z, really excited to get the Z/28. I've had a few offers for my Canadian Z, I have no trouble picking one up in the USA .
