Sounds good

I've got the sways and cambers. MOST DEFINITELY want radius...HUGE improvement when I put those in the SS. I asked Joe why GM didn't include the full radius type bushings when they built the car right off the bat. His response? "GM probably didn't want everyone to kill themselves seeing as though the steering response was THAT much better."

I'm still saving up to put my Street 1Z bushings in. It may be awhile for me if you're looking to go Red again. You'll be able to put them in before I am I'm sure.

We'll see. So far, Bane is a bad ass...lol

But ... for those that haven't seen the new thread yet or FB pix, CGM#1 has been retired...traded in. Now, we have a C5 member who is already on this and is trying to make a deal with Friendly Chevrolet up in Dallas. If he can get this pulled off, I'm going to be the happiest guy in the world!!!

Yeah...I'm going to help John as much as I possibly can. Shit...I've got stuff for the car he can have, history, info, shoot.....I might even send him the autographed radiator cover. Wife says no...lol...it was a present for me. But in my eyes, that's part of THE car and it's not like it's going to some jackass 16 year old who doesn't know what they have or care. It's going to a GOOD person who will take care of it! So...my wheels are turning. Can't wait to see what comes of it!

Isn't that correct? Don't see why the front would need to be changed for the same thing. Now a stock SS would benefit....but 1LE and ZL1, I believe, are supposed to be the same.
I did Detroit Speed front & rear sways. Definitely helped a lot on my last track day. The front may not make a huge difference but the ability to adjust it is nice.

I have subframe and front control arm bushings sitting in my house, haven't gotten around to putting them in yet. Haven't heard anyone talk about radius bushings on a ZL1 though. Curious about the improvement.

Well, it's staying with me. It's in the garage now and I'm gonna keep it. I love that cover and that's memories there. I've got a piece of my old 2002 Z28 in a shadow box on the wall. This part is going to go up there next to it.

Oh, and THRSS#2 is supposed to now get 4 new struts and all new tires. Guess having them in the attic in all that heat did them in. Front felt good and fine. Rear was all over the place. Thought it was alignment or the sway bar. Figured alignment once I got there and the tires were bald. But, hmmm...makes sense it's all the struts.

And the entire exhaust is now up for sale.

$1,500 for everything. LT's, high flow cats, 3" catback, two sets of mufflers.

Hope it goes quick!
