I am in total agreement with AX3206. Just when I thought at least my $31,000 + investment had finally left Canada after two weeks, GM tells me on the phone it is "not" in transit! So who do you believe?..GMConnects or whoever the lady talked with one the phone. I might as well have waited and just bought one off the lot.

I think it really is better just not to know or be able to supposedly track. Quick story now...I had ordered my 2008 Grand Prix GXP in August of 2007. It too was built at the Oshawa plant. I don't remember exactly, but my dealer told me it would be here in 2-4 weeks or something like that. Fine. So I was driving my old Grand Prix when it started to make a strange noise. I took it to the dealership the very next day, and the sales guy said, "Don't worry about it. It's not your problem anymore. Your new one just arrived last night"!! That was cool and beats the hell outta all of these false hopes created by various forms of tracking. On the other hand, I'm sure I wasn't as excited for my Grand Prix (though I love it) as I am for my first Camaro.

and i got nothing today! tomorrow will be 1 more week with no updates after 9 days of no movement in the system. my salesman said he was going to email the District Manager. i was like wow tons of effort on your part. someone needs to call the factory and find out what is going on. i am half temped to try and just call up there until i trick someone one to put the head of shipping on the phone.....

Ok so some news for me.. Spoke with my dealer today and he told me that they just got 2 camaros to the dealership that were bayed 4 days before mine. However, mine is still in Canada. But I am in NJ so its possible that it could reach me in a transit time of 4 days. But who knows.. im excited either way.

Has anyone seen the 2012s in person? What are the updates from the 2011? I test drove only 11s and bought the 12 sight-unseen.

steering wheel, gauges, and dash will be most noticeable- other subtle changes like new picture in mirror rearview, rear camera and power passenger seat..

Just checked out flirts pictures. The 45 is ridiculous. Wish I was getting one of those haha. However, the one thing I really dont care for at all is the change of the steering wheel . I thought the 2011 wheel looked awesome and it said camaro on it.. anyone else agree? this is my first time seeing it.

BTW flirt, not trying to downplay the coolness of your car.. its great. But that was just my innitial thought.

if the 45th didnt have the red/blue colored stitching- i would have purchased it with a stripe delete..but they didnt so...

On another note, i wonder if the cars can still be bayed for QC once they are invoiced, or is that an indicator thats its finally ready to leave?

and also, i think my ship date on the invoice is showing 8/26- how accurate is that?

My invoice shows shipped 8-11 with an estimate delivery of 8-18, but Connects shows it is still bayed. I have a feeling that the dates on invoices do not mean much. I sure hope yours ships before the 26th.

Guess I am one of the few who like the new wheel. I could not stand the 10/11 steering wheel. Would have been the first mod if not changed for the 12.

Its so blahh.. its the same wheel that is in the chevy cruze. chevy was definitely saving some money by adding this part.

Me too...to be honest, if it doesnt make it in by next week, im going to get pretty mad..considering that will be the 3rd week after production thats its been sitting around..
