The story is not very clear. Title says "Camaro-based" which means it's a version of the Camaro. Writeup says "based on the Camaro platform". Which could mean anything, including a car that's NOT a Camaro. Either bad writing, or typical teaser GM "fugg with your head" double-speak to confuse the issue and keep you interested.
Tossing in there that 1 of the 6 ads for the Superbowl will feature the Camaro means that they'll have a Camaro ad on the Superbowl. Ok. Means what it says, nothing more. Since they said they're unveiling it in Chicago, you WON'T see any inkling of that ad to the "new" vehicle. If it is Camaro-based as the title says, I'm going to put my money on red...a 45th anny edition. That's my guess if it's another Camaro version. If not a new Camaro, then I really don't care.

Predicting a thread move to General Automotive - Other Cars. Camaro platform based? If it were a new Camaro, no need for the word platform.
I'll bet we will see a school teacher flying through the air in a silver Camaro, and a Packers overtime win.
