Why don't you just send him a link to the dealer brochure we recently got ahold of. That would show him how far up his own ass he is about those engines. This sounds like information that might have been plausible in 2006...

Hmm, I'd really like to see that 6.0 in the G6- is it the BS1? Getting guesses wrong would have been alright if real info wasn't readily available. Most of those things can't even be explained away with typos.

PM me the link and I will look at the thread in full

Actually motor trend or car and driver (i can't remember which) said the V6 was the RS model, I have no idea were he got the 6.2 V8 as the RS from. Those car mags are frickin hilarious it's no wonder there are so many ignorant people out there. I know he's a writer for Motor Trend.

No, the PREMIUM Mustang GT starts out at $28,375. The bare bones GT is $26,425. You can see it here: http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/mustang/models/

I wasn't talking about a loaded SS being 33k, I was talking about the bare bones one being 33k compared to the GT's 26k.

The G6 with a V8 defeats the purpose of the G6.

MT, or any other rag' out there, knows as much about the details on this car that GM hasn't released as they know how to actual test a car. If they can't get an LS1 F-body past the mid-13s, I don't trust 'em.

JMHO.

I think $22,000-$33,000 wuold be a good ENTIRE price range. meaning bare bones LS $22,000. FULLY LOADED SS $33,000. maybe that's what he meant...

sounds like he pulled ot the crack pipe on the engines and release date though...
