Brembo's and 18's lets see em.

I want to see your 18" rims over brembos. I am looking for something for a front drag wheel. Pics please. Maybe something you guys are using for winter rims.

I have found that the racestar front runners that the stang and vette guys use will fit the camaro with a small spacer! They are a universal bolt pattern and they are made to fit over large brakes, they are much cheaper then welds. Look them up!

Has anyone tried this yet to confirm that it works trouble free?

(nevermind the wrecker LOL)

This is a 17, but they make them in 18" too. Weld RT-S 17x5. No rubbing, no spacer, no modification necessary other then brake pads without roller skates.

Here's my Forgestar F14s. I lost 66 lbs from stock 20s and that's with the monster 315/40 rear NTO5R drag radials out back.

Saved 12-14 lbs on each corner. If your car came with them, you must replace the stock "roller skate" brake pads with aftermarket ones (I used Hawk).

What was the cost of the Rims? You can PM me if you don't want to put it out there.

Under $2200 for the rims and tires.

Nice wheels Padre! I'm going to be purchasing the machined Nurburings in 18". Your car helped me make my decision between TSW and Forgestar.

Sweet. Forgestars are well-liked too.

GMRULZ has the polished/machined with a slightly different setup (19's up front, 18's in back, I think):

Here's a pick of the "Roller Skate" brake pads for those curious:

What is the reason for the rollerskate pads?

A noise issue with the stock pads/rotors. GM added the "roller skates" midstream. But simple aftermarket pads also fix the problem.

I don't know if the newer SS's or the 2012's will have the roller skates.

I would of had these wheels months ago if they came in matte black. They are a little cheaper than Forgestar and you can get them a whole lot faster, but I do love the
11" rears I got.
