I had a dyno run today @ GPI for my 2011 SS (before the mods they are doing). I gained 25 hp (L99 V8) with A Vararam Intake, Power Wedge, JBA wires, and VMax TB -- assuming it was around 340 hp (This is RWHP) to begin with (I did the mods myself and did not have a dyno run first). So, you should see some HP gains -- V6 should see similar percentage gains... Now, what mine be tomorrow after GPI mods? We'll see ;o)

So, $370 for Vararam Intake (with better MAF sensor), $99 for PowerWedge, $150 for VMax TB, and $60 for the wires -- $679 and 25 hp... (that is shipping included!) If you take off the $99 for the Vararam Power Wedge (maybe 1 to 2 hp if that) -- $579 for about 23 HP (V8) on the Dyno -- Vararam is more a 'ram air' intake so 'driving' it may be more HP...

it does but it also make the tone deeper and gets rid of drone that almost everyone running MRT v2's complains about. im running the resonated x-pipe with no mufflers but kept the stock resonators.

I expect to install the CAI tomorrow, can't wait for the other stuff. I figure this should add a minimum of 20 HP to my little LFX.

Amazing, this means the LFX will be putting out a calculated 343 HP which is more than the original L-35 396 did in '65 with 325 HP!! My how technology has changed.......

Happy Motoring!!!!!
Thank you for your order and...

i didnt think the exhaust mods for our LFX engines would increase hp much more, i heard its just more for sound. is that true? i have a 13 2LT vert, and those ugly huge exhaust cans stick down and out by the rear tips. i am about ready to just get rid of those, if nothing else. gee wiz. they stick out like a sore thumb. ha ha

I would also recommend the magnaflow resonated x pipes! Just installed mines with a resonated delete and I'm loving it! Almost no drone at cruising speed! (70-75mph)

You can gains some power and sound with high flow cats but anything behind that is only going to change the sound and reduce weight a bit.

Yep, they used to lie and say they had less average horsepower and torque, now they do the opposite and exaggerate the averages.

The only way you will know how much power you gain is with a before and after dyno. As mentioned above horsepower does not add up like that although you should still feel a nice little difference.

Wheel horsepower and wheel torque tell you more, but even then some dynos can be wayyyy off from one another. Their main purpose is for comparisons....
