I have two flat black stripes running up my hood now....If i wanted to wrap the whole hood in matte black would i have to take off the stripes prior to wrapping it? Would you be able to see the stripes if i didnt? thanks...

Yes you would be able to see faint lines from the stripes. You would probably have to look for them, but they'd be there.

Also i would be concerned about possible air pockets that might get trapped against the edges of the stripes if you wrap the hood.
