I believe it. I get about 250 miles out of a tank of gas.

Do you get bad gas mileage during break in? If so, why? I have a little over 4k, so "break in" ended long ago. I just like to row through the gears...aggressively I might add.

Also, to be fair I haven't let it get to empty yet so I'm sure it would more like 270 miles. I'm sure I could stretch it IF I WANTED TO, but I would have bought a prius if I was worried about the gas.

If the fuel gauge on the ZL1 is like almost all other vehicles, don't count on "half full/empty" on the fuel gauge meaning that the gas tank is actually 1/2 full/empty. It's just a nominal reading on the gauge. It could be a bit more...or it could be less.

10 MPG

The tank and a half I burned so far I averaged 10 MPG. Im trying very hard to get it down to 8 MPG. This car is so hard to keep a feather foot.

62+ mile drive home from my dealer last night. It was a mix of highway and surface streets. I average 21.9 mpg. Windows up, AC on. I was pretty impressed. I would not expect that continue as the break in period expires and the natural weight of my right leg is more overcome by gravity...
