I was at the are local gun store today and was giving a tour of the new shooting range/classroom for CCP. Two of my friends are trying to get theirs but have scheduling issues, they are booked up solid until 2010. 65% are woman, sounds like I need to requalify.

I'm thinking about getting a CCP. I may be getting a 9mm for christmas, at which point I'll take the test if I can find time next year.
Right now I carry a knife on my person at all times. It's kept sharp, and I know how to use it effectively. Not quite as good as a gun, but better than bare fists. If I had a CCP I'd carry any time allowed by law. Its just better to be safe. - X

Gosh I love Canada even more, now. Montréal, 3.5 millions people, 29 homicides last year. Most of them are bikers shooting each other or, sadly, family members killing each other. Probable less than 5 of those where innocent people getting killed by strangers.
