Goodbye Korea, Hello MidWest, I'm finally back running around Ohio. How is everybody doing?
Went out to Lofino's Cruise In last night, had a couple of dozen cars there due to decent weather, but i was the only 5th Gen, had a couple of roll throughs but no one stayed. Anything new going on?

Not a whole lot, but there are a few track days being organized. Tomster posted a 3 day thing at Mid-Ohio next weekend. Arachnyd has a date planned for May 10th at Nelson Ledges. I am planning on doing a open track day at Mid-Ohio April 25th as well as still got a full day getting planned and organized with them as well at a later date.

Just started the car yesterday. Took it down to Cincy Speed today for some driveline improvements. Hopefully will be ready for some cruise-ins, etc.

Just got an oil leak fixed. When we put the timing cover on after installing the cam we didn't think to check and make sure it was on right. It wasn't, it was sitting too low and there was a considerable gap after putting the oil pan on that caused it to leak. So I got a new gasket and we lossened the timing cover and put it where it was supposed to go. Irritating but atleast it was minor.
Im going to be going to Dragway 42 this weekend for their season opening Test and Tune on Saturday. Might go on Sunday as well. Anyone else planning on going? |
