I drove a heavily modded GTO last week and since it has no nannies I almost drove it off the road a few times. It finally scared me so much I drove it like a grandpa. I can see where the technology here can control that much power.

You have to ease into the hard driving of any car that's new to you, or one that you were accustomed to but which was then upgraded to be more powerful or otherwise more capable.


If you're accustomed to having the nannies available to step in as you push up toward the car's limits, you won't develop a good feel for getting close to the limits or learn to be smooth with the pedals and the steering up there where it really counts.
