It's meant to be a bolt on replacement for the 2014-2015 SS to clear superchargers, but I have a 2013 and it required some surgery. Once it was installed, I have to say I am really pleased with the look and functionality. Air temp. reading 100° in the same stand still commute, coolant temperature never got over 198°. *This is without the drip tray in place.*
The cooling system is way more than adequate for the regular street driving, and 216 degrees is within tolerances. My car is also around 195-200 on the highway or moving traffic with the louver closed, but will quickly climb to 210+ in standing traffic, but the hood louver will obviously not help you when you're standing anyway. In other words, your data is confusing to me. It should have almost no impact whatsoever in street driving.

Thanks for the compliments all. X25, I don't know what theory your going by, but this is what I witnessed. Sitting around idling or running in bumper to bumper traffic has always seemed to increase coolant temps from what I've observed, once the car starts moving it cools down. I daily drive my vehicle, about 40-50 miles per day.

For me it was about around $300 bucks to do at the body shop. They did it all in the same day too. Great work from them. OC Body Craft is anyone in Orange County, California is interested. Have used them a few times since then. Took a lot of measuring and some trimming on the SLP drip tray to have it fit with my vararam intake in the way, but turned out awesome and I love the look!! I painted the vents black. Looks way better than the chrome the carbon fiber. Still love the look! heat extractor came with. I thought I posted pics on this thread, but I guess not.
