You could go with something like that (I have no experience with it so can't comment on it) or save your money and just use a regular ol aux cable like this... http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-3-5mm-S...2752026&sr=1-1

or you can use the same wire you use when you hook your iPod to your computer. the usb port in the console will allow you hook up and charge your iPod along with the radio controlling your iPod

He has a 1LT (and no C&C package I'm assuming) which does not have the PDIM (which is what has the USB port).

I just use the AUX cable from computer speakers, can't beat free!

But, if you are interested in the remote, then it should work just fine.

Although....we could "persuade" you into the PDIM...

If you are not concerned with having it charge at the same time, just get a male to male mini plug connector and your good to go, like the one woot linked in post #2, and you certainly can't beet the deal, I got one of those for something else off amazon, and with s/h it was a whooping $2.50. Just to buy a male to male at Radio Shack or Wally World was at least $6.......

Eww... that's a lot for just a 3.5mm male-male connector. I went to Radio Shack and got a 1ft one for about $3.
