LMR Twin Turbo Car CORVETTE runs 9.40 First Pass!!!
I know it is not a camaro but still an LSX power plant. RC Cox's 2008 twin turbo corvette ran a 9.40 @155mph first weekend out. The weather conditions were definately not the greatest, over 100*+ in the houston summers are not fun. We just wanted to make some shake down passes and did not expect to run as fast as it did. I did not have it at 100% throttle until 1.5 sec into the run. Here are the incrementals. Just wait until we get a little better weather and actually try and sixty foot this car. Can you say quickest and fastest IRS C6 corvette, while maintaning 100% drivability with radio, navigation, and cold blowing A/C!
60- 1.73 1/8-6.23 MPH-122.65 1/4-9.40 MPH-155.23

I had the yellow TT Z06 last year that ran 9.27 and still holds the record for MPH in the 1/4 mile(for C6Z's) and must say you have an amazing beast right there. Putting the amount of power your putting down through the 4L80 is awesome and I have no doubt you will nail 8's in no time at all!
4L80 is just so much better suited for what your running, I'm excited to see how the car performs when it gets cooler! Keep us posted! |
