T&T at the fest?

Wondering if there will be just a basic test and tune we can run at the drags. Not to interested in the race since runs would be limited if you go out to in the first round.

There really is no time unless they open after the Camaro fest events are over. That's one of the reasons I'm trying to privately rent the track at night.

Not really.....unless you want to look at QUALIFYING at T&T time. but you would still be paying the fee to get on the track to race.

That sucks, do we get 2 qualifying runs at lest? I am gonna be pissed I go out in the first round, not very consistent with this manual yet! I might be doing auto X one day if I can and skip the drag then. Normally I would t&T the first day, then do the race the next day to get the feel for the track.

There is a test and tune from 6-midnight at Muncie which is an hour away. Depending on how things go I may load up and haul over there. The weather will be much better at night.

There will be plenty of time to do as many passes as you like on the drag strip, all of Friday, and Saturday morning. Now, I'm sure you'll understand that with a couple hundred other people wanting to do the same thing you might have to wait your turn....but Friday and Saturday's Drag Racing sessions are very informal...and you aren't limited to a certain number of runs...

I don't know where some of this information is being misinterpreted...

Here's our Drag Racing informational thread:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219588

And an excerpt:

Quote:
Qualifying / Competitive Rounds:
As we've planned it, we will have two sessions on Friday and one on Saturday morning, that are Test and Tune / Qualifying.

So, for the heads up classes, you run as often as you'd like in the T&T sessions to get the fastest time slip you can to make it to the competitive rounds of the classes you are eligible for.

We will have a "leader board" at ARH's booth where we will take your time slips and update the list of cars that qualify for the competitive rounds on Saturday evening.

As we get Time slips we will update the leader board with quickest cars for each class. Then set up the brackets for the competitive runs on Sat evening....
