Well guys & gals

.......... everything worked out just fine!!! YEAH!!!

GM only pulled 3 orders from Moritz today...leaving my original order in place, my salesman (Joe) just called, he was in his manager's office & they were changing my order right then...

I verified everything & it's all good!! I GOT THE 2SS!!!

HOLY COW!! I'm a happy camper now!!

THANKS again for everyone's support here!!

Well, now you can kiss your a$$, er a convertable goodbye too. By next year you will have fallen totally in love with your new ride. Way to go and good work to Moritz for not looking the other way and taking care of you.

maybe one day we can do a camaro run and
take over on city where it be san antonio, austin, dallas houston whatever or where ever

Congrats SRVFAN!!! I'm glad you were successful in 1) negotiating the upgrade to the V8, and 2) getting the changes to your dealer just in time. Now begins the long wait, but just think of it as a right of passage. I figure the 11 months I will have been waiting by the time I take delivery will make me appreciate it even more

Yes! I did. They faxed me a copy of the workbench order & everything was there.

THANKS DFW SS!!! But, I'm so happy right now...I don't think the wait will be near as long as it has already been. All I can say is I'm GLAD I had to wait these past 10 weeks!! Gave me time to think this thru & get exactly what I wanted!!

I should have my car (barring any snafus) by the Oct meet...... or with a bit of luck (not really thinking this could happen) but maybe it'll be here by the Sept meet. But either way...I look forward to seeing you all again & meeting the people I missed the last time & meeting any others that can come out!!

Re: Moritz... they have always done right by me...... this will be my third car I've bought from them. My salesman (Joe) really takes care of his customers... not just during the sale, but afterward as well. That's why I have hung in there this long ... I wanted to stay loyal to my sales guy! He deserves the repeat business. Bob even sent his boss to him & he ordered a Camaro too. Oh...btw, the boss changed his order from a 2LT to the 2SS today as well!

These get togethers are for all of us to learn from each other, share information, and learn what works for all of us. We are fortunate to have someone as technically knowledgable as Andy from ADM Perf fill in some blanks regarding our cars. The way I see it is it can only help and not hurt. Of course it can HURT your budget. See ya next time.

Got the word today that our 2SS RS 6M will come off the line this Thursday so hopefully it will deliver to Covert Chevrolet in Bastrop in a few weeks. Getting close now!!
