10' SS vs 06' 300 SRT8 (both auto/CAI/exhaust)
my 2010 SS L99 w/CAI + exhaust with aggressive tune vs a 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT8 with intake and exhaust... both are automatic and supposedly the 300 isnt tuned yet and he drives in tip-tronic ?!?!? not sure if hes that stupid.

You will win...with only intake and high flows I walked one. The tune on the l99 you should smash him

The intake & exhaust does nothing on a 6.1... Maybe 10 rwhp.
The best I ever ran with my previous SRT bone stock was 13.0x @ 108 My "average" stock times 13.3x @ 106-107.. Average Da of 1500-1700. The best I ever ran with exhaust, cai, canned tune was 12.98 @ 108' Don't know if you tracked you car, so this info might not help..... Just thought I would throw it out there.

"+ exhaust"
Does that mean you have long tube headers or just a catback exhaust? Because that makes a pretty significant difference. My L99 A6 ran 12.9s with intake and tune. It ran 12.5 @ 111 mph with the addition of long tube headers. So headers make big difference in performance. |

I ended up going to Gainesville today for the last run of the year... The GTO was stroked to a 6.6 L & slicks.. This was my best run of the day.... I've grown tired of trying to launch with street tires...... I cant break a 2.0x 60 ft time.....

Here's my runs from yesterday, all I have is I/E mods.
On DR's I could break 12's! SRT8 psh.... 6.1 liters of helium! I only have 5 year old 3.5 liter V6 family sedan with over 100k miles (on original OEM spark plugs nonetheless, procrastination has got the best of me!) and I run right with it! My friend with bolt on L99 was trapping 107-108 and only about .2 tenths faster! |
