Question car number for limited editions?

How can I find out what number my car is in a series of a limited edition, as in the 2014 Spring Edition?
Like...[what number] in a series of [ever how many were produced.]

Thanks in advance!

I don't know the answer to your question but, your salesman can look in his system and tell you how many are available anywhere in the country. I had them check when I ordered on 2/6 and there was......

ONE!

You might also contact the Chevy Customer Service rep that hangs out here and see if they can get to that info. They really ought to put a plaque in the car. Maybe if you get to the right person, they'll do that for you. Also, when the production year is over, a member here publishes the build count for several variations and I'm sure he will have a total build count for you. I would like to know how many of my exact spec are built. I'll bet you can count them on two hands.

I think it's the last 3 digits of your VIN number. I thought I had seen it posted somewhere but I just can't remember.

It is usually the last 5 but it all depends on the production number as the first two (of five) can be special numbers. There's a specific instruction for it and it should be here in the forum. Try the forum's search box.

I do not believe they have a break down as they did not for any of the other editions (Hot Wheels, 45th, SGM Cars, or the Heritage Edition.

The only breakdown you will get is if Scott will post the total number of units produced and he will break it down to A6, vs. M6, SS, and V6, Coupe and Vert that will be the best you will get.

You can't because they are made in the same line along side normal editions.

The only thing you can get is the total production numbers for that special edition, you can't and won't be able to tell if your car is the first one or the last one.

I wondered if Scott could help.
Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond. I am wanting all the info I can possibly get about this car as I plan on keeping it for many years.

When we were trying to find this out about my dusk special edition I was told the same thing as others have said.
It was broken down to SS versus V6, convertible versus Coupe, and transmission and the amounts of each, but Scott said he could not be specific of which number out of the series my car was.

I think the spring edition will be pretty rare. Maybe no more hundred or so built. Production totals MAY be released in july??
