This is why I ALWAYS get preapproved for a loan so I know how much I can get approved for and that I will get approved for it. No sense in looking at a car that you cant finance.

Def. Go to your bank or credit union and get pre approved then it's just a matter of finding a car within the agreed upon parameters siging a couple of papers and getting out. When I bought my second car whole ordeal took less than an hour.

Okay, the Elantra is gone and my daughter is distraught. I believe that all along they knew a co-signer would be required and despite my insistance I would not sign, it was their intention to force the issue. They blinked, and lost.

My daughters Saturn came home washed waxed and detailed, it never looked so good.

We will try again, lesson learned.
