Why no advertisement for the Official Unveiling on May 6th?
I would think they'd be advertising the May 6th event... I mean after all , unless your already involved with the car , how the hell would anyone know about the unveiling.
 Is this another f up on GM's part

Not sure why they don't yet, but it could have a lot to do with being extremely
busy reorganizing and the whole bankruptcy thing.

There is a GM commercial for 5/6 unveiling of the Camaro, just seen it the fist time this morning!

my dealer planned to have it on the 6th,
but their car wont be there by then, so they cant have it without a car. its not that they are "following" the unveiling, they just cant unveil a car that they dont have

It probably doesn't make sense to advertise it since most people can't buy one yet.

Here in the greater Oklahoma City area, they are running radio spots about it being on the 9th. I happened to be at my dealer yesterday for service and they said they were going to do something on the 8th and 9th.
However, they already had the car in the showroom. Actually, they drove it on the lot from detailing while I was asking about it and parked it in the showroom. Wouldn't let me drive it, but got to sit in it. |

Many of the dealers here in the Chicago area are noting in their Newspaper Ads the Unveiling on May 6th.
