Good for Camaro but not others. Like the GMC truck line at same plant.

Vette plant is closed for now too. Scary times.
I read 600 people are getting pink slips at the vette plant :(

14 Factories and 21000 jobs will be shutting down Monday.

Having been thru 2 rounds of base closing I kinda know how it feels. When Brooks AFB was first put on the list my coworkers started crying when the list was read on the radio live. I had to hold it in lol. But folks are strong and will survive and find a way to make it. Fresh starts.

i have my check from the Credit Union and am prepaired to go on to some other make and model.

but if my Camero comes in,.... Whoo Hoooo!

this isnt a surprise nobody ever said they were shutting down, that was just rumor by over hyped people on here trying to start conversation

But it feels good when you hear somebody come out and say it. Even if it is ABC News, because GM wasn't saying S***!

I really dont care how long the proceedings go, as long as they keep building them!

I didnt know they shut down the corvette plant, but it makes sense, dealers are making crazy deals on corvettes right now, they must be hard to move!

ok, the plant stays open... they keep making cars... awesome....

BUT.,....

what about the outside vendors that do the shipping????

Will they still be up and running? or will the plant just be stockpiling cars???

Of course Gm wants to keep the plant open. Why wouldn't they?

It's not entirely up to GM though. The suppliers hold the immediate fate of the production line.

Hold your breath folks..... this is going to be interesting.
