Angry My baby was attacked!

I'm so upset right now.....I was doing a nightly inspection of my Camaro and that's when I saw it. Some moron put a ton of chewing gum in between my front fascia and the headlight! I can't even get to most of it! I've been out in my garage trying desperately to get it all off.

Thank goodness I look the car over every night....otherwise who knows when I would've spotted it. I just can't believe that there are people in the world who are so hateful; I just don't understand how anyone can vandalize this beautiful car. Man I wish I knew who did that....I would kick them in the face.

That's such a stupid thing to do. I'm sorry for you, and good luck getting it out... I would say that WD-40 would work, but I wouldn't squirt that between the fascia and headlight myself...

Man, that is unbelievable. I don't know what I would do if I caught someone messing with my car, but I assure you it would be more than kicking them in the face. I would lose it. Hope you get it all out. Damn, that really burns my ass.

use Goo-gone (you can find it at any store) it works like a pro it takes wax and gum off anything. id be careful with it near your paint though, dont know what it could do

I truly don't understand this. Even in my most juvenile and immature stages of my life I would never do somehting like that.

There is also a product called De-solv-it. I have used it on fabric to remove gum, but would test it someplace inconspicuous first before coating my bumber with it. Should be able to get it at Wal-Mart. Read the label first.

I'm hoping it just was thrown out of someones car and not done on purpose! I wouldn't do that to my worst enemy, especially their new Camaro!

That's ****ed up but I feel your pain I bought a new 2006 H2 Hummer and 1st time I went to our local mall some jack azz thought he be cute and stuck a bunch of gum on inside of door handle so when I opened the door I put my hand right in it! People are just jeolouse that you have such a nice car. I hope no one does that to mine cause I know I was pissed off when they did that to my H2 but it will really tickme off ifthey touch my camaro. Cause I love it so much more than I did that tank. Guess it's kinda like the H2 was a step child and my camaro is my 1st born golden child! Know it sux but hope you get it all clean!!!

Take a can of computer air turn it upside down freeze the gum and that should make it easier to remove and should not hurt the car.

Yeah, initially I thought maybe it had been thrown out of someone's car but it looks like it's stuck back there pretty far.

I can't really reach far enough to get it all out.....I may have to take it somewhere....I don't know what else to do. I'd like to think I can take care of this myself but I really don't want to mess up the paint.

I would be taking that to do DNA analysis so I could find that person and make their life more miserable than it already must be. Sorry to hear you have already been vandalized in the 2 days you've had your car. It just reaffirms that we are constantly surrounded by ignorant, ill-spirited people. I'd setup a web cam to catch the bastard in the act, and get the judge to sentence the person to scraping off gum from roads, school tables, etc. for 100000000000 hours.
