Aero mods
I bought a spare trunk lid to install an APR wing to go along with the splitter I installed last weekend. I cut the trunk wiring and soldered in 5 pin connections to allow for quick disconnection to be able to swap back and forth between my factory trunk and the wing.
The wing installation was a bit of a pain; lots of measuring and remeasuring. I also installed Pfadt springs last weekend which only dropped the car ~1/2". Overall with the 19" Finspeed wheels, springs, aero, camber plates, Hawk DTC-70 pads etc. I'm ready to get back to the track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like it. I have the front splitter and their wickerbill. The rear wing is a little extreme, but looks great! Great idea using a separate trunk lid.

Thanks. I plan to use the ASC canards as a template to build fiberglass splitter flares. It should fit better and be functional.

Very nice, I'd be curious to see how much your times improve at TWS. Now you have me looking for a trunk lid.

Aero mods
Unfortunately I moved to St Louis area. I will likely move back to Houston next year though. Hopefully TWS will still be open. It's one of the most fun tracks I've run.
I just started building my front fender flares this morning. I really like how well they fit. The fiberglass has allowed my to mold them like a glove. They'll stay in position in the fenderwell without any hardware. I plan to use the factory front-front fender flare fastener locations to secure them. This is a rough shot...lots of sanding and clean-up work to do. I decided I wanted a rear wing after watching Venom V in California. He was eating Porsches and every other car up at Buttonwillow. How quick are you running TWS? Still have the track bug I guess so that's good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I haven't been able to track since last year, I need new pads and tires. Last time I did TWS I was consistently hitting 2:01. I didn't have consistent braking though, I had the power stop "extreme performance" pads, and they were completely gone on the front after Saturday. I ended up haven't to cut the event short, and put my OEM Bremo pads on to drive home.

Hawk DTC-70 front and rear for the ZL1 is what I use and finally gravitated to. I've been very pleased with the cost/performance.

I'm guessing a rock guard or front deflector

Good guess. Front fender flare that widens the ZL1 front to tie into the new front splitter. Mounts with the 3 factory inner fender screws. Fiberglass and very strong.

Impressive - I don't have the skills to attempt something like that on my own!
