Question about spraying on ZL1?

I want to spray my ZL1 but I have been told that nitrous through boost doubles meaning if I spray a 75shot it will go up too 150hp anyone familiar with this?

OK, so I don't have a ZL1 yet, but I'm planning and been thinking about spraying as well. I had nitrous on my vette, so I'm very familiar with it and am not really concerned about spraying a ZL1.
One question that came to mind though is in regard to no lift shifting... do those of you that are spraying have a controller to stop spraying between shifts and if so, what kind? A window switch it seems would spray through a no lift shift and I think that would be dangerous.

What do you guys think?

Unless you're bone stock you will run out of fuel pump spraying anything more than 100shot.. That's what is keeping me from installing my kit.

As to doubling power running spray and boost, It's not double the hp exactly but usually 30-50whp on top of whatever size shot you are running. Any idea on if you want to do a plate kit or spray bars?

I think using the no lift shift and nitrous together can cause more errors in shifting, which I'm sure you know. errors and nitrous do not go well together..
I have the window switch from nitrous outlet and plan on programming it to turn nitrous on at 100% wot and above 3500-4k RPMs. (Haven't decided yet)

That actually makes more sense then it actually doubling and I'm going to use a NX proton kit that I had on my other car it's a single nozzle thru the intake.

Hmmm that's actually the first time I've heard of somebody doing a nozzle system on their ZL1. Spray bars and throttle body plate kits have been the way to go for everybody else

Well reason to why I'm doing it like that I was told by the guy that works on my car said that it'll be fine doing it but would like to get more advice do you think I'm running a risk by doing a nozzle system? It will also have a nitrous progressive controller installed.

I'm sure it will work fine depending on how much you are trying to push, anything over 100 I would look into a plate kit or going spray bars. Nitrous outlet sells a 90mm plate by itself ($150 I believe). Should bolt right up to the rest of your nozzle kit (just without the nozzle obviously). Call N.O on Monday and double check if you go that route

You are the only guy I've read that would be doing a nozzle.. So any problems you run into there won't be that much support on here or elsewhere to help you out.. The progressive control will be fine, I'm also running a TPS switch/Harness to activate under certain WOT

Makes sense.

this is the link to my 2013 zl1 with a 100 shot of nitrous done by torq when they existed. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...hlight=randals a 100 shot increased my rwhp 150 and rwtq 190lbs......be reminded this was through an auto and on a mustang dyno guys. now since then i added a cai and im using a 2.38 pulley with an 8.66 lower now.....plus the car has been converted to run on e85. it makes 703rwhp and 712rwtq......this car still has the stock exhaust......no headers.
