Supercharged LT1 C4 vs Supercharged 2010 SS
Tittle says it all. Some trailer trash guy in town came up talking that he dropped 60k into his car from the shop I get my work done at (the owner of the shop said he did not) anyways this kid has been calling out every car guy in town here to run for money at the track. He's known for scamming and stealing/selling tools.
Anyways, as far as I know his LT1 vette is supercharged (seen pics)...Not sure if he has anything else but wants to run for a grand. My Camaro has a 2.8 KB supercharger, headers, exhaust, 6L80E, meth, and DRs. I really don't know much about the LT1 or what that motor is capable of so I thought I'd come on here and see what people say...I don't even know if I should waste my time/money at the track for someone who seems like a tool bag, I'm just curious at this point!

A friend of my had a six speed C4 back that ran 10.40's @ 136,383 stroker with ported LT4 heads intake,solid roller cam and a good bit of nitrous.I,m sure 200-300 shot.It made about 440 on motor.I'm sure if its just a LT1 with a s/c you will wear him out.But that was back in the late 90's,it was a monster back then.

I think his is an automatic, not sure. Apparently it had severe tranny issues but unclear if that was dealt with or not..

I'm sure with your mods you will hand it to him.I'm sure its just some punk talking trash.I had a 93 Z28 and loved it,well other than working on it.Kid you not I could put 5 set of headers on a 10' SS in the time it took to put one on a LT car.

Yeah I seen those motors and they don't look fun to work on lol.
I'm sure I'll run into him at the track this weekend, we will see how things go! his car is on street tires too. So not sure if he has anything done for traction either.

I had a 87 c4, Had about 475 hp but it was light, that thing would move. I know stock mine only had 245. If he has a sc, and other full bolt ons he may be able to put down some nice numbers. But I would bet on you.

The kid called me out too lol he wants to put a grand down to race me as well. I have JRE blower cam, E-force @10psi,DSS driveshaft and all the supporting mods with DR's (waiting on slicks). I just put the cam in and have to get a final tune in it but I should be in the ball park of 700rwhp.
He told me its stock internals, with a small cam and hes running 7lbs of boost through a new auto since his old trans was broke. Hes on street tires with stock suspension... I ALMOST feel bad taking this guys money if hes serious, I went to highschool with him and he was literally a little mentally retarded.

Yeah I know he definitely doesn't have money to blow away, so I'm going with the bat option as well. lol. Maybe he's hoping that something will happen during the race to give him the win?
