Is the ABL in the ZL-1 red or blue? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I bought some ZL-1 door panels from Ofer on here and I am trying to sell them now. The potential buyer said the ZL-1 ABL lighting should be red. The tag on these and the other ZL-1 door inserts I have both say "Ice Blue"

is it maybe a IOM ZL1 option? I know the synergy series cars came with red I emailed my buddy again to confirm, maybe I'm wrong but I swear he said his were red and he has no mods.

All ZL1's come with only one interior color and that's black with the blue ABL.

It should be red since we have all the red stitching, but it is blue. Someone at GM didn't know how to color match...

Its blue but I changed all mine to red including the door lock and window switches :-) Looks much better red

Mine is Blue.. it should have been possible to change color...but no... it is blue.

Mine is red and blue...I can change it with a button in my drink holder. I think this was an option that I chose when the car was built.

Mine's dim - not as bright as my SS was, but it is blue.

I think you are referencing the footwell lighting and not the ABL. The ABL is in the doors and it is only blue from the factory.

Mine is really dim too compared to my SS.

I think the big thing is that the black doesn't reflect the light well enough to give it a bright glow. Mine is also very very dim. I'm really aggravated that GM didn't give us an option to get other interior packages. I'd have snagged up the IOM interior in a heartbeat.

But to answer the OP, it's definitely blue.
