edelbrock supercharger on ls7

Will the edelbrock eforce superchager for a ls3 work on a ls7? and if so does anyone know if it would be carb legal in California?

No it will not. The eforce for an ls7 should though, but I doubt the belt setup is the same as the vettes so you would need to get a z28 specific or get a bit custom.

Check this out

I would check with rds as they may be able to make those out of phenolic, which would stop the heat transfer issues as well

interesting. I was wondering but jeggs listed eh supercharger for LS2, LS3 and LS7 under same part number. I thought there may be a difference

I currently have an edelbrock on my ls3 and wasn't sure if I removed it if I could put it on a LS7. Looking at all options when I buy a z/28 and what I want to do.

I would think twice about a blower on an LS7. Look over at the Corvette forum and there is a noticeable pattern of LS7s melting down that have added blowers. I was told (FWIW) that the thinner cylinder walls of the LS7 make it riskier to add FI to.

Just what I've seen/read, figured I'd pass it on.

I appreciate the heads up and will look at comments on the corvette forum.

Actually, they love them. Had one, so do tons of friends. The ls7 blow up factory and all motor. Blowers are fine.
