I'll probably get to GLD around 6:15 - 6:30 pm depending on traffic from downtown.

20" Nitto 555R's but there were hardly any cars out last night.
I was talking to the track guy I know, Frank, and he said that Wed and Thur would be better, more cars out, more rubber. I'll get back out next week. I even tried to walk it out and still had to pedal it once I floored it. I've been racing at this track for 15 years so I knew pretty quickly I wasn't going to run anything good so I just hung out and tried a few things for fun. My 1/8th and 1/4 MPH matched yours camarojt but I couldn't hook it up.

Yeah I know I've been drag racing for about 18 years.
I'm not blaming GLD at all, there were only like 10 cars out and what track around us is even open on a weekday. I've gone 1.35 at GLD in the past and my buddy who I help has gone 1.24 so we think it's fine. I've also run great at US41/NLR but it's 2 hours driving for me and with kids I can't really race on the weekends that much. I just don't want new racers to think GLD sucks because one guy says it does, please don't take any offense. If GLD is open next Thur I'll go, if not then Wed.

Don't get me wrong, I've run great at NLR (formerly known as US41), and I would prefer to run there but weekends are tough for me with family stuff. I used to rent 41 when Papa Norm was still with us, for the MFBA car club.
Are you on a tire, I'm still planning to move to an 18 at some point.
