69 Z28 Barn Find
amazing;
http://www.carsinbarns.com/new170.html "My buddy and I found this near perfect '69 Camaro Z28/RS in an actual barn on an old man's property. The car had been parked there for many years, and seems to have survived with little or no decay. To my surprise, the owner was willing to sell the car, and we made a fair deal. We got the car out and cleaned it up, did a little maintenance and had it back on the road! Keep looking there are cars out there! Most of the time they're 'not for sale' but sometimes they are!"

My money is on that car not being what the emblems say it is. No RS backup lights below the rear bumper, emblem is in the wrong spot on the front fender, no padded rear bumperettes... car in a barn story too....

like this; this one has both; my guess is it is an RS, with the Z28 badges added??? but the taillights should have the back up light in them like this;

There are actually 3 different tail light lenses you could get on a '69 Camaro. The Z/28 could come with any one of them depending on what options you ordered. "Standard" which has no chrome trim on the 2 vertical dividers and a white backup light lens in the middle. "Style Trim" ones that come with the "Style Trim" option are identical to "Standard" except the vertical dividers on either side of the white backup lamp lens have chrome trim added. Style trim also added bright aluminum wheel well mouldings, stainless roof rail gutter mouldings and probably a few other items as well. There are the "RS" option lenses with the single horizontal divider. Those are part of the RS package that included the hide away head lights and other items. -Mark |

That is a Harrison county plate (southeast Indiana), issued from 1993-1998. So, that car was in the barn at least 14 years.
