Are you talking about the silver stripe on the hood? It appears biased towards the Driver's side....appears that it almost touches the passenger side of the mail slot but has about an inch of space on the Driver's side.....Is that by design or was it a mistake? Hard to tell from the Avatar, but even in the pictures showing the hood masking, it appears that it's uneven.

Very nice ride though, and the sound in those videos is awesome. When do you estimate the whole project will be complete?

No. The shape of the hood stripe is perfect. What I'm having an issue with is it's brightness. I think the main problem might be the pictures. The shots I have make the stripes (hood and hockey) appear to be SUPER BRIGHT and almost white...which is NOT like I wanted. I wanted silver, but not I AM GOING TO BLIND YOU SILVER!!!!!!!!!!! It's tough to explain, but.... Tom sent me a paint sample before painting my car. I like it. But, I see the pictures of the completed paint project and it's off....I can't put my finger on it, but it's off. Read the posts above and you'll see. I just don't feel right showing pictures that do not truly represent what I want this car to say. The pictures of the completed paint are also missing the front splitter, spoiler, and chrome/CGM wheels. So, it looks WAAAAY off to me...almost like a "Oh sh!t...what did I do..." I'm sure it's just me and the lighting that the pictures were taken in. The colors are very similar to my wifes car and I LOVE the colors on her car. Again, maybe it's just the lighting in the pictures and the fact that it's missing parts.

I have complete pix. I'm going to hold off.

Man, I freaked myself out over nothing!!!

The pictures I was sent after the paint job showed an almost WHITE appearance.....and let me tell you....

IT SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

On top of that, it's a work in progress....the paint HAS to go with other parts that are not yet on. Right now, it was just paint. I looked and literally freaked out. I do NOT remember the last time I stressed that much. But, it's all good.

AND....that is why I am NOT going to show pictures of it at this time. I UNDERSTAND. But, a lot of others might say, "oh boy....."....like we saw in a post or two in the last page. So, we are going to hold off. 16 days left until Carlisle. Not long at all. I just pray that we can get the most important part done by the time we get to Carlisle....the WHEELS. THAT is, IMO, what is going to make the car tie in to the paint.

I'm good....I'm ALL good!!!!
