My baby is under the knife.
After seeing a few good clips (
If the clips are any indication, I will LOVE it, but I figure if not, I'll just have them put back on. No harm, no foul. Can't wait till 5!

Oh and btw, if you are considering getting it, while I LOVE it. If possible find someone in your area with it to give it a listen. I LOVE it, but, the popping that is normally there. From INSIDE the car it seems like it MIGHT be a bit too loud, but I can't confirm how loud it really is. I'm perfectly fine with how loud it is inside the car, I'm just not sure if the sound outside might be a bit much.
But again...I ADORE it. My god, such a beautiful engine, and now I get to hear it. Without being retarded. Stunning sounding engine, seriously GM should be so damned proud of how the LS engine sounds...

That's right genius, keep modifying your car and give the police more of a reason to profile you. The next time you get a ticket, ask the policeman to serve you your ticket by yelling at you at the top of his/her lungs. That way you'll know how annoying your exhaust will sound and how easy it will be for you to get their attention to pull you over for the lamest reason. |

Hahah you idiot, you should just go through my post history randomly saying a bunch of stupid crap. I don't even know what you said in here but I bet it was oh so insightful.
@Napalm, I really doubt it. Though honestly even if they would. I don't know how much I trust a dealer to do exhaust work. Your best bet is to ask around for a word of mouth recommendation for a shop that does quality work. And enjoy the fact that it's pretty much only loud when you want it to be. Though for some I could easily understand how it could be "too much". My biggest concern with it wasn't how loud _I_ would have to hear it, but other people. My #1 criteria is "can't be obnoxious", and when I first heard "muffler delete" I rolled my eyes, but, with the cats and everything, its just about perfect.

Glad to hear you liked the muffler delete. I went with a brand called Aero. Its basically a stright through pipe with a twist. it adds a spin to the air to move it quickly. Love the sound of it too!
