There just isn't enough differences between the coupe and vert to justify yet another subforum. A sticky thread with all the vert information would be fine. But right now there isn't much out there. Once we get closer to production I'll try to compile a list of all things vert specific into a sticky thread, but right now. We just don't have enough for a sub forum.

Still haven't seen any actual first hand pics of this car; couple of try's by members, but were turned away. I'm wondering about a production color that doesn't cost us po' fok 75k

I put my deposit down in August at my local dealership to be one of the first Verts in the garage. But I have a feeling we will see some special offerings after the first 6 months, similar to the synergy green that we didnt think would appear so fast. So I am driving it hard and look forward to trade up to another one in a year or two, even if I win the super charger!!!

Yeah, but after the first 6 months we'll be at the 2012MY (Which many of us thought this Jan. 10, 2011 production might be). I'm hoping that since this is going to be a short production run that there'll be some special colors now. We will get the honor of the first year Gen5 vert production, but with rumors of a new upgraded interior waiting could be benificial.

I'd sure like to see GM give us 'vert buyers a special color too. Anyone heard any more rumors on paints (sory to repeat, Pony, just saw your post after I did this) (heard of two, only like one, and not heard anything since...) Worst case it'll be white with an expensive re-paint to follow.
Eric, you mean you didn't bump yourself when you added me to your list? Awww shucks! I think I can let that slide. I actually think you're one of the few who want it more than I do!!! Tib |

I'm guessing working at the dealership has it's perks. What's your magic number at classic Tib?

Saw a transport with at least 3 Convertibles today!
Travelling in Toronto on Highway 401 eastbound today around 9:30am and my eyes almost bugged out. On the opposite side of the highway I see a transport coming toward me carrying at least 3 Camaro convertibles.
Two white with tan top and one what appeared to be Imperial Blue with tan top. I say at least 3 because the cement divider in the highway was too high to see anything on the bottom of the transport. But there was no mistaking the artwork sitting on the top deck. No time to grab the camera phone and snap a picture, but at least we know they are rollling out of Oshawa in multiple colours. Pretty cool news! FD |

I think he's got his eye on that rumored Pearl White if it happens. Frankly, that's a Buick color to me I hope those orange stripes hides the 'old man paint' under them!
(Yeah, poking fun on the guy who you're ordering your car from probably isn't very smart is it?) Tib |
